- Violent incidents have increased at the County Jail due to the inability to separate different classifications of inmates. The Board of Supervisors disagrees in part with this Finding. The rate of serious assaults in the jail has not substantially increased since the implementation of Realignment. Any increase is attributable to a multitude of factors, including increased sophistication of the inmates.
