R213Page 201The placement of a juvenile is a complex case and costs additional hundreds of dollars per day.

-
R215Page 201The State of California oversees that Group Home Officers are licensed, and requires all people who have contact or interact with juveniles have a once a month face to face meeting.
-

-
R224Page 202Juvenile reports are time consuming and complex.
-
R225Page 202Each case requires a timely intake report that takes approximately twelve to fourteen hours to compile, and must be presented to the Court Judge by the third day.
-
R226Page 202Forty-percent of juvenile offenders may end up in Juvenile Hall.
-
R227Page 202Informal probation allows juveniles to go back to their parents or guardians, and requires all parties involved to sign-off on the conditions to complete their probation. The alternative is being placed in Juvenile Hall.
-
R228Page 202The State average rate for recidivism is approximately 70 %.
-
R229Page 202There are an inadequate number of foster and group homes in Lake County.
-
R230Page 202A Probation Officer’s job is high pressure with strict time limits.
-
R231Page 202The Department has difficulty keeping trained and experienced officers due to non-competitive salary and benefit packages offered by Lake County versus other counties within the state.
-
R232Page 202Due to the increasing workload, careful scrutiny of the Probation Department budget is recommended before any budget cuts are enacted.

R695Page 201Employees are required to receive 40 hours of job related training annually.
-
R696Page 201The goal for the department is to maintain a balance of 50% female/male employees.
-
R697Page 201To keep morale high, the department strives to keep a full staff, as this provides a more even distribution of the work load.
-
R698Page 201The yearly budget for the Probation Department and Juvenile Hall is three million dollars.
-
R699Page 201The county receives state grants for the Juvenile Group Care Homes (JGCH).
-
R700Page 201The state grant money for JGCH goes into a foster care trust account.
-
R701Page 201Lake County sends juveniles to group care homes in other counties and pays for it out of the foster care trust account.
-
R702Page 201The average cost to routinely house a juvenile in a group care home out of county is $5,500 per month.
-
R703Page 201The placement of a juvenile is a complex case and costs additional hundreds of dollars per day.

-
R712Page 202There are about 450 active juvenile cases with thirty to forty juveniles currently on formal probation.
-

-
R714Page 202Juvenile reports are time consuming and complex.
-
R715Page 202Each case requires a timely intake report that takes approximately twelve to fourteen hours to compile, and must be presented to the Court Judge by the third day.
-
R716Page 202Forty-percent of juvenile offenders may end up in Juvenile Hall.
-
R717Page 202Informal probation allows juveniles to go back to their parents or guardians, and requires all parties involved to sign-off on the conditions to complete their probation. The alternative is being placed in Juvenile Hall.
-
R718Page 202The State average rate for recidivism is approximately 70 %.
-
R719Page 202There are an inadequate number of foster and group homes in Lake County.
-
R720Page 202A Probation Officer’s job is high pressure with strict time limits.
-
R721Page 202The Department has difficulty keeping trained and experienced officers due to non-competitive salary and benefit packages offered by Lake County versus other counties within the state.
-
R722Page 202Due to the increasing workload, careful scrutiny of the Probation Department budget is recommended before any budget cuts are enacted.

-
R889Page 201Employees are required to receive 40 hours of job related training annually.
-
R890Page 201The goal for the department is to maintain a balance of 50% female/male employees.
-
R891Page 201To keep morale high, the department strives to keep a full staff, as this provides a more even distribution of the work load.
-
R892Page 201The yearly budget for the Probation Department and Juvenile Hall is three million dollars.
-
R893Page 201The county receives state grants for the Juvenile Group Care Homes (JGCH).
-
R894Page 201The state grant money for JGCH goes into a foster care trust account.
-
R895Page 201Lake County sends juveniles to group care homes in other counties and pays for it out of the foster care trust account.
-
R896Page 201The average cost to routinely house a juvenile in a group care home out of county is $5,500 per month.
-
R897Page 201The placement of a juvenile is a complex case and costs additional hundreds of dollars per day.

-
R906Page 202There are about 450 active juvenile cases with thirty to forty juveniles currently on formal probation.
-

-
R908Page 202Juvenile reports are time consuming and complex.
-
R909Page 202Each case requires a timely intake report that takes approximately twelve to fourteen hours to compile, and must be presented to the Court Judge by the third day.
-
R910Page 202Forty-percent of juvenile offenders may end up in Juvenile Hall.
-
R911Page 202Informal probation allows juveniles to go back to their parents or guardians, and requires all parties involved to sign-off on the conditions to complete their probation. The alternative is being placed in Juvenile Hall.
-
R912Page 202The State average rate for recidivism is approximately 70 %.
-
R913Page 202There are an inadequate number of foster and group homes in Lake County.
-
R914Page 202A Probation Officer’s job is high pressure with strict time limits.
-
R915Page 202The Department has difficulty keeping trained and experienced officers due to non-competitive salary and benefit packages offered by Lake County versus other counties within the state.
-
R916Page 202Due to the increasing workload, careful scrutiny of the Probation Department budget is recommended before any budget cuts are enacted.

-
R1397Page 202Juvenile reports are time consuming and complex.
