The staff at the Department of Cannabis Regulation appears to be limited in its ability to handle the multitudes that wish to be interviewed as they attempt to apply for licenses. The City’s Social Equity Program is not meeting the needs of those who would qualify for the program due to the lack of personnel in the Department of Cannabis Regulations to pre-screen these applicants.
