The Jury recommends that all County and City law enforcement officers who are trained in crisis intervention, in accordance with State guidelines, be encouraged to fully exercise the issuance of 5150 holds in appropriate circumstances. Dr. Lee will certify Lompoc Police Officers on 5150 holds during this training, which will take place at the Lompoc Police Department. The City anticipates training will be completed within one year. This concludes Lompoc's responses to the individual applicable findings and recommendations in accordance with California Penal Code Sections 933 and 933.05. Sincerely, .
