We disagree. The Fire Chief's position is the only full time paid position directly relating to the Fire Department. The Community Services District also employs a General Manager as a part time paid position. The General Manager's responsibilities mainly deal with Fire Dept. issues and are principally funded through the Fire Department.

We disagree. As stated earlier in the report, our Department provides services to approximately 200 square miles from seven principal locations. Most calls do not require a full Department response to mitigate. Normally, one or two engine companies will respond on any given incident.
