Two new communication programs were implemented to alert Glenn County residents to emergencies within the area via cell phones, emails, and social media. RESPONSE TO FINDING: Agree with finding.

The Grand Jury found that several departments realigned and reclassified employees’ positions, granting the positions large percentages of raises. With the additional spike in pay, results were an increase in CalPERS payments. RESPONSE TO FINDING Disagree wholly with finding.

Facility - The Grand Jury found the sidewalk leading to the entrance ramp of the jail reception area has receded approximately an inch or more below the public sidewalk. This could cause someone to fall/trip or may have difficulty accessing with a wheelchair. RESPONSE TO FINDING: Agree with finding.
