Additional upgrades in school air quality systems and furniture are necessary to comply with COVID-19 safety protocols. X AGREE PARTIALLY DISAGREE __ DISAGREE Response explanation (required for a response other than Agree): For indoor locations, CalOSHA requires employers to evaluate how to maximize ventilation with outdoor air; the highest level of filtration efficiency compatible with the existing ventilation system; and whether the use of portable or mounted High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filtration units, or other air cleaning systems, would reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. For indoor spaces, ventilation should be optimized, which can be done by following CDPH Guidance on Ventilation and Filtration to Reduce Long-Range Airborne Transmission of COVID-19.
