Each year the grand jury conducts inspections of the jails, holding facilities, and the juvenile detention center in the county. Additionally, the grand jury investigates different aspects of city and county government. Reports are written on the inspections and investigations conducted during the term with each report listing the grand jury’s findings and recommendations.
