That the county, the cities, and other entities benefitting from the services provided by the Santa Barbara County 2-1-1 Helpline Program contribute funding in proportionate amounts as proposed by county staff in its December 2013 recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. Response: The City has not implemented this recommendation. The City of Carpinteria understands that the County of Santa Barbara will be requesting that Carpinteria, along with other cities in the county, provide financial support for the 2-1-1- Helpline system and will consider such a request at the appropriate time. Should you or the Grand Jury wish to discuss this matter further, please feel free to contact me or City Manager Dave Durflinger. Sincerely, J. Bradley Stein Mayor
