The District Attorney has developed and released a resource card in three languages to be handed out by Santa Clara County law enforcement agencies to the victims of elder or dependent adult abuse. The County agencies have implemented the recommendation to update their duty manuals, per the 2015 Grand Jury report, Protecting Our Most Vulnerable Residents. The District Attorney has issued the “Financial Abuse Specialist Team Practice Guide” (FAST) document, which addresses elder and dependent adult financial abuse. The County Protocol for Santa Clara County Law Enforcement agencies has been referenced in the newly released FAST document.
