The department disagrees with this finding. Although on-scene fatalities are trending downward compared to 2020, the data shows an increase yearly from 2021 to 2023.

The Corona Police Department currently tracks Narcan usage and fatalities. However, there is no centralized county-wide system to collect and store this data. If a comprehensive method for collecting data is established, the Corona Police Department would willingly implement the requirements to ensure consistency with other agencies within our region.
