The 2008/2009 Lake County Civil Grand Jury oversight report showed the LCMHD to be in arrears to private vendors, the County and the State for large amounts. LCMHD management has taken steps to alleviate this problem. Currently the vendor debt is satisfied and the debt to the County is in the form of loans with a structured payment plan. At the time of the oversight, the debt owed to the State of $700,000 was being disputed.
