The Board of Supervisors approved a request by the Fire Departrnent to apply for a Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency (SAFER) grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to fund six (6) Fire Engineers to help with the requirements of this standard, and to insure safe response for the Firefighters.
