Please verify the funding number per ADA with the district office. School funding is complicated. The variance between the allocation to Ukiah HS and Willits HS is potentially misleading to the public.

In our conversation regarding potential program losses due to budget cuts, my statement was that I was concerned that these identified programs might be cut and that I was working to ensure that they would not be. In truth, all aspects of a school are at risk of being cut in a budget crisis. As stated in this conclusion it appears that we've concluded that such programs will be cut. Again, my objective is to preserve these programs.

The figure regarding the percentage of students attending U.C. Berkeley is incorrect. I reported that on some years we have had five percent of our graduates accepted to U.C. Berkeley, but the figure for those attending is lower. This correction was noted in a follow-up conversation, but was not made in the final document.

It is incorrect to say students receive double credits for taking college courses. By state law a high school student completing a college course may receive 3.33 high school credits for each college credit completed. I am unsure where the reference of one student graduating with 22 credits originated or whether it is important to include, we have many students that have graduated with any number of college credits. We enjoy working with the college to provide expanded educational opportunities for students.
