Smoke detector The applicant was informed by the technician that the smoke detector is higher priority, because it is a safety issue. The applicant was informed of other agencies that may be able to help obtain additional benefits. It was verified that the second applicant also met the requirements to participate in the program. The work that was being requested was as follows:

Smoke detector The same information was shared with the second applicant, as had been the first. For example, the smoke detector was a safety issue and would be a higher priority. The applicant became aware of the program because of work done at an acquaintance’s home. Both applicants were informed of a waiting period before work could be done, which is approximately four to six weeks. The Grand Jury next accompanied the field supervisor to inspect two homes where the work had been completed.
