F-9 As of the date of this request, City Council itself has apparently not received a copy of the letter and Report. Nevertheless, the City respectfully requests an extension of time to respond to the Report. This request for extension applies to all Findings and Recommendations for both the City Council and CMFR. The City Council and CMFR will not have the opportunity to adequately review and discuss the Report at the length it desires to provide a response by August 18, 2022 and July 20, 2022, respectively. Under Penal Code section 933.05(b)(3), the City Council and CMFR require further analysis on the Report to provide a useful response. City staff plan to review and analyze the Report over the coming months. The City Council's review and approval of the report will require noticed public meetings. Accordingly, the City is respectfully requesting that Your Honor extend the deadlines to Monday, November 18, 2022. This will provide both the City Council and CMFR the appropriate amount of time to discuss and provide a robust response to the Findings and Recommendations, in a manner consistent with the Brown Act. Thank you for your consideration of the City's request for an extension. Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can provide any further information. Respectfully, How am Done H Daniel A. Stefano Lori Ann Farrell Harrison Fire Chief City Manager City Attorney Cc:
