The overall quality of the 28 Orange County School Districts and their individual school's emergency preparedness plans are in need of much improvement. Response: The Huntington Beach Union High School District schools have a comprehensive emergency preparedness plan which is updated on a yearly basis. However we are currently implementing additional National Incident Management System (NIMS) training which will be included with Standardized Emergency Management System (SEMS).
